Recent reports of an apparent confrontation between Roma players and Mourinho following the defeat with Milan have been dismissed.
According to Italian journalist Augusto Ciardi of LaRoma24, there is no truth to the rumors claiming the Giallorossi were particularly dissatisfied with Mourinho’s instructions in their loss to Milan.
A regular face-to-face discussion took place in the dressing room at full-time, Ciardi reports, where both parties took accountability of the bad performance that took place on Friday night.
The Special One was particularly concerned about the physical condition of several members of his team given that Paulo Dybala, Renato Sanches, Houssem Aouar, Nicola Zalewski and Lorenzo Pellegrini all suffered injuries in the first weeks of the new season.
