The future of Atalanta midfielder Ruslan Malinovskyi will more than likely unfold away from Bergamo as the player’s contract is nearing its expiry date in June 2023.
The relations between the Ukrainian footballer and Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini reached an all time low earlier in the year when the 29-year-old was linked with a move to Marseille in the final days of the summer window.
Now, Italian media claim Malinovskyi is on Roma’s radar. According to calciomercato.com, the Giallorossi are considering Malinovskyi as one of the primary names to strengthen Mourinho’s midfield in the summer.
Malinovskyi represents one of the cheaper options on Roma’s shopping list as the player currently earns around €1 million with the hopes of doubling his salary upon his next career move.
The list of names includes Sassuolo’s Davide Frattesi and out-of-favor Lyon player Houssem Aouar.
