Ryan Friedkin, Fienga to temporarily lead Roma’s transfer market

John Solano

RomaPress – Dan Friedkin will officially takeover tomorrow as the new owner and president of AS Roma after having struck a deal earlier this month with James Pallotta.

The acquisition of the club will take place tomorrow at 10.00 CET and will be finalised at DLA Piper’s office in Rome.

The American and his son, Ryan, will be the two most prominent figures at the club, with the latter becoming a focal point of the Giallorossi.

Meanwhile, Ryan Friedkin and Roma CEO, Guido Fienga, will temporarily lead the Giallorossi’s transfer market while the club looks for a new sporting director. There are many names in the running for the role, but Friedkin is taking their time in making a final decision. It is expected, though, that Roma will have the post filled within a few weeks.
