RomaPress – New Roma owner Ryan Friedkin and soon-to-be board member Marc Watts arrived at Ciampino Airport late this morning to fly to Verona in order to attend their first Giallorossi match since their takeover of the club last month.

The pair will spend the day in Veneto close to the team before taking the match in from the stands at the Stadio Bentegodi.

Ryan and his father, Dan Friedkin, officially acquired Roma early last month from fellow American James Pallotta, who was at the helm for nine years.

Watts, meanwhile, is the president of The Friedkin Group and is one of the closest confidants of Dan Friedkin. He will officially have a seat on Roma’s Board of Directors once approved by the club’s shareholders later this month.
