Salernitana manager Paulo Sousa spoke in a pre-match presser ahead of Sunday’s Serie A opener with Roma.
During his press conference, Sousa discussed Roma’s transfer business and what Mourinho’s team can aspire to in this upcoming campaign.
“I am very happy with the team I have at my disposal and that’s why I feel it is important for us to face a great opponent like Roma right out of the gate.”
“In my opinion, if Roma manage to sign a quality player for the attack, they can compete for the Scudetto,” added Sousa. “They have a stadium that is always full and a great coach on the bench.”
“We must make the best of this opportunity and embrace the packed stadium we will be playing in tomorrow against a very high quality team,” concluded the Portuguese technician.
