Salernitana President Danilo Iervolino discussed tonight’s Serie A fixture to be played at the Arechi Stadium in Salerno.
Iervolino’s team will face Daniele De Rossi’s team in a must-win clash in Salernitana’s fight against relegation.
“With Roma it’s always a hard battle. It’s always very exciting,” Iervolino told Radio Manà Manà .
“Today we are experiencing a difficult situation, we need the result, on the other hand there is a team that has energized itself thanks to the new coach who has given great energy to the team,” Iervolino said of Daniele De Rossi’s appointment in the Italian capital.
“I’m sorry that a great character like José Mourinho has left Italian football, he is one of the best coaches in the world. On the other hand, I rejoice because young coaches like De Rossi with a winning mentality are given a chance to shine in this league. I wish him good luck.”
“Roma will play like mad because they don’t want to give up, they won’t want to play a little game but they will want to be aggressive. We will play an open game, also because we can’t even afford a draw. We will play to win.”
