Currently in charge of Salernitana’s sporting area, former Roma director Walter Sabatini was interviewed by Tuttosalernitana and addressed the rumors linking his club to Giallorossi out-of-favor defender Federico Fazio.
“He would be very happy to join our side. He is a proud individual, and one who honors his commitments.”
“We just need to find a contractual framework on the duration of his contract. Nothing to do with the economic side of it,” Sabatini said.
The former Roma sporting director concluded:
“Fazio even gave us his availability to play in Serie B if we ultimately fail to avoid relegation.”
