Roma are monitoring other options in the attack as talks with West Ham for Gianluca Scamacca have been put on hold.
Due to the difficulties the capital club encountered in negotiating with West Ham United for the loan of ex-Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca, Roma have began their pursuit of other targets for the position.
According to calciomercato.com, Roma’s primary alternative to Scamacca is Salernitana forward Boulaye Dia who is coming off an impressive season in Serie A.
Salernitana are planning to activate his option from Villareal and will insert a new release clause worth €25 million as interest in Dia from other clubs in Italy has intensified in recent weeks.
Besides Roma, Lazio and Fiorentina have also put Dia in their sights.
