Roma are eyeing Salernitana defender Lorenzo Pirola ahead of the January window.

The capital club will need to secure an additional defender given the lengthy absence of Chris Smalling, Marash Kumbulla’s recent return from injury and Evan Ndicka’s impending departure to AFCON.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Giallorossi have been monitoring various players in Italy and abroad.

Among them is Salernitana’s Lorenzo Pirola who could be a realistic target for January.

Pirola has been performing very well this season: Salernitana are said to value him at €8-10 million.
