Roma will face RB Salzburg in the Europa League knockout playoffs in late February following this afternoon’s draw at UEFA’s headquarters.
Salzburg’s sporting director, Cristoph Freund, commented on the draw with Mourinho’s side in a press conference earlier today.
“I would put Roma on the same level of Milan,” Freund stated. “It is a club with a great tradition. Just look at the data: their roster is worth around €400 million.”
“Plus, they won won the Conference League and have a champion for a coach,” concluded the Austrian director.
