Salzburg midfielder Nicolas Seiwald discussed the upcoming first league of the Europa League knockout round with Roma.
Seiwald anticipated facing Mourinho’s side for the first time on Thursday night in Austria.
“We expect them to play with three at the back,” Seiwald told salzburg24.at. “They have plenty of top players and they qualified to the Europa League for a reason. It will certainly be a tough battle for both sides,” he said.
“Obviously they have a top coach in Mourinho. But during the match I don’t care about such things, in any case I’m not focused on him.”
“Even though many believe they will play defensively, we don’t believe they will wait for us in their own half, but we do think they will come after us with a high press.”
“I can say with confidence that we’re hard to beat at home when our fans are fully behind us,” he concluded.
