Salzburg captain Andreas Ulmer sounded deflated after his side’s elimination from the Europa League following a 2-0 defeat to Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.
In his post-match interview with Sky Sport Austria, Ulmer was at a loss for words.
“We were unable to break away from them. Roma were constantly in our faces,” Ulmer said.
“Our periods of possession were too short and we couldn’t breathe. We never managed to make our pressing work. It’s disappointing.”
