After being linked with Strahinja Pavlović earlier today, Roma are once again mentioned in the same conversation with another Salzburg player – this time around the capital club have been linked with midfielder Maurits Kjaergaard.
The 19-year-old starlet has been proposed to the Giallorossi in recent weeks, reports Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari.
Roma are particularly interested in the midfielder’s profile and stats: already two goals and three assists to his name so far into his third season with the Austrian side.
However, Kjaergaard’s costs are extremely elevated and the player has already caught the attention of several other top European clubs. Moreover, the 19-year-old’s contract with Salzburg is valid until 2026.
