Il Tempo journalist Alessandro Austini has reported today that Salzburg midfielder Diadie Samassékou is in pole position after the Giallorossi have looked for alternatives to Steven Nzonzi. The Frenchman’s request of €4.5 million in net wages is too high and Monchi’s search for another option has led him to Austria.
The Mali international is closer to the profile that Monchi is searching for. He can be bought for a much affordable price (€15-€18 million) and his wages are much more reasonable.
