Eldor Shomurodov is set to leave Roma before the end of the summer.

The Uzbek striker does not fit Roma’s plans and remains on his way out following his return from last season’s loan at Cagliari.

According to Il Tempo, Shomurodov has drawn interest from teams in Italy and is now being contended by two teams specifically.

The newspaper reports that Hellas Verona are the club in most advanced talks with Shomurodov.

However, as of late, Sampdoria also have joined the race and would like to lure Shomurodov to Serie B where Andrea Pirlo is in need of an additional striker.
