The future of Gonzalo Villar is at a standstill as negotiations between Roma and Monza have stalled over recent days.
Monza have rejected Roma’s insistence on inserting an obligation to buy in the loan in case Monza were to avoid relegation at the end of next season.
Thus, Roma are currently listening for other offers after having excluded Villar from preseason training.
According to Il Secolo XIX, Sampdoria have once again joined the race for the Spanish midfielder and have inquired about Villar’s availability for a transfer.
