Claudio Ranieri could, once again, take over for Eusebio Di Francesco. Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero, vice president Antonio Romei, sporting director Carlo Osti, and scouting director Riccardo Pecini are all in Rome today and will meet with Ranieri in the coming hours. The Blucerchiati are looking for a new manager after having sacked Di Francesco and will try to convince the former Leicester boss to accept the role. Should he refuse, though – Samp could opt to go with Beppe Iachini, reports Gianluca Di Marzio.
