Roma are looking to replace Rick Karsdorp following the tense dispute between the Dutch fullback and Jose Mourinho in the aftermath of Sassuolo-Roma which resulted in the player deciding against attending any further group training activities.
The first name on the list of potential replacements is that of Bartosz Bereszynski who would be open to join the club even on a temporary basis, reports Corriere dello Sport.
The Sampdoria captain has been linked with an exit from the Blucerchiati for the past few months and, due to his team’s position in the league standings, could insist on departing Genoa already in January.
Bereszynski has been offered to Roma – the player had been in talks with the capital club a year ago, but the negotiations never developed into a deal.
This time around, however, Roma may choose to find a temporary solution until the end of the season.
