Sampdoria attacker Francesco ‘Ciccio’ Caputo has been vocal about his team’s motivation going into the match at the Ferraris Stadium on April 3rd.
The ex-Sassuolo man was recently interviewed by Il Secolo XIX and reaffirmed his stance on Samp’s determination to get a result against a stronger opponent like Roma.
“Roma are a great team,” he said. “They won the derby, sure, but we’re at home and we can hurt them.”
He concluded, “We’ll do anything we can to win some points in order to avoid relegation.”
