Samp’s Mikkel Damsgaard to return from injury against Roma

Sampdoria attacker Mikkel Damsgaard is ready to return to action for the Blucerchiati following a long stop that had kept him sidelined for the past few months, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Danish attacker missed 5 months of action after suffering an injury in early October.

The player spent three months in Denmark to undergo a lengthy and intense recovery process, and has not met yet Samp coach Marco Giampaolo.

Damsgaard is expected to be called up in early April, and thus be ready for the upcoming clash against Roma on April 3rd.
