Samuel Dahl discussed his move to Roma after being announced as the capital club’s latest signing.
In his first official interview with Roma TV, Dahl – who joins on a permanent deal from Djurgardens – reflected on the emotions behind his transfer.
“I’m very happy to be here. I want to thank the owners of Roma and the club for this opportunity. I feel very lucky,” he said.
“I sincerely expect a lot from this, I know that Roma is a club that has a great desire to win, naturally I would like to play as many matches as possible, I want to help the team as much as possible and win.”
“Roma is one of the biggest clubs in Europe, with a great history, excellent players and a good coach. It’s a fantastic club that I’ve only heard good things about.”
“My characteristics? I’m small, fast and good with the ball at my feet, that’s what I want to show here in Rome. I want to play with the team and show my qualities.”
“De Rossi? He’s a true legend here, I’ve seen him many times on TV. I think he will be an excellent strategist, I imagine he plays good football, tactical football with movements and schemes. His football is very offensive-minded and I like that.”
“This is my first time in Rome, I have heard only good things. I’m happy to be here, I can’t wait to get to know the city, the club and obviously get on the pitch.”
“My message to the fans? Forza Roma!”
