Talks between Roma and Santos for Marcos Leonardo’s transfer are on hold.
Over the last day, Roma have been engaged in talks for Leonardo with Santos who are now reportedly unconvinced by the capital club’s offer despite earlier reports suggested the Giallorossi had met the required asking price.
In a recent press conference, former Roma player and Santos executive Paulo Roberto Falcao told UOL, “Marcos Leonardo was sought out by Roma who spoke to the president, I didn’t get involved, I never do.”
“I spoke to the president afterwards and Roma’s offer, in addition to the conditions they included, was low. There is no way to make the deal happen this way.”
