Talks between Roma and Santos for Marcos Leonardo have stalled one more time as the capital club reflect on the situation.

According to the latest di report by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, after holding a new round of talks on Wednesday night, Santos reaffirmed their stance of not wanting to part ways with Leonardo in this transfer window.

Santos have asked Roma for more than €20 million (with easily achievable bonuses) to sell Leonardo right away, or a smaller fee but allowing Leonardo to leave only in January 2024.

Roma have asked for time to reflect on this situation and at the same time are considering other options on the market including PSG’s Hugo Ekitike and Sporting Braga’s Abel Ruiz.
