Sardar Azmoun at risk of missing 2-3 weeks of action

Andy Mattioli

Roma attacker Sardar Azmoun exited tonight’s match with Fiorentina with an injury.

The Iran striker came on in the first half as Paulo Dybala’s replacement but was forced to exit early on in the first half after sustaining a calf injury.

According to Angelo Mangiante of Sky Sport, Azmoun’s injury appears to be relatively serious compared to Paul Dybala’s.

Azmoun could end up missing around 15-20 days of action which would exclude him from Roma’s upcoming games with Bologna, Napoli and Juventus.
