Roma striker Sardar Azmoun was interviewed by the club upon the conclusion to today’s training session.
Azmoun spoke a few days ahead of Roma’s match with Monza.
”I feel good, at ease. I have a good relationship with everyone,” said the Iranian attacker when asked about his teammates.
“In this locker room there are world champions, top players internationally, yet no one gives themselves particular airs. It’s easy to get along with these teammates.”
”Pellegrini helped me a lot. Lorenzo is a good captain, as well as being a very strong footballer,” said Azmoun of his skipper.
”De Rossi? The thing that is most surprising about De Rossi is that seeing him from the outside, as a footballer, he seemed like a real fighter full of grit.”
“Seeing him every day, with his kind ways, with that kind heart, is beautiful and it’s just as good to have him as a coach. It was the right choice. And, if I may add, I like the feeling that De Rossi brought to this team. But this is a general feeling. The club, the management, they are all working closely with us. This sense of unity helps us a lot.”
