Roma attacker Sardar Azmoun was back on the scoresheet in last night’s 3-0 win over Frosinone.

The Iranian striker was given the chance to make his first start for the Giallorossi, playing the full 90 minutes and scoring Roma’s second goal of the night in the second half.

In his post-match interview with Sky Sport, Azmoun analyzed the team’s approach to a difficult game two days after the first leg of the Europa League playoffs with Feyenoord.

“Football is like that, all matches are complicated,” said Azmoun who is currently on loan at Roma from Bayer Leverkusen. “What was important today was returning to the pitch with the right attitude.”

“We are a fine group of players, we’re like brothers and we help each other no matter what. We must transfer this spirit to Thursday’s match against Feyenoord.”

“Lukaku? I always have fun with Romelu. He is one of the strongest attackers in Serie A, in any case he is a player from whom you can learn a lot in training and for me it’s an honor to even talk about him. It doesn’t matter who plays, we both give our best.”
