Sardar Azmoun makes partial return to training for Roma

Roma were back on the training pitch at Trigoria this afternoon for the first time since Sunday’s health scare involving Evan Ndicka.

Daniele De Rossi and the rest of the Giallorossi squad began preparations for Thursday evening’s pivotal showdown against Milan in the Europa League. While the club received positive news regarding Ndicka’s prognosis, the Ivorian will remain sidelined for an indefinite stretch of time due to the uncertainty surrounding a recovery timeline.

However, there was some positive news on the injury front as forward Sardar Azmoun returned partially to training alongside the rest of his teammates. The Iranian has recovered from a hamstring injury suffered during last month’s international break—expected to be available for selection within the coming days.
