Roma attacker Sardar Azmoun is ready to feature from the start in tonight’s Europa League fixture with Brighton.
Despite not playing much in recent weeks, Azmoun will replace Romelu Lukaku tonight – the Belgian striker is out due to a hip injury and the Giallorossi will need Azmoun to lead the attack in his place, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Moreover, Azmoun is likely to be paired with Tommaso Baldanzi and Nicola Zalewski who are set to replace Paulo Dybala and Stephan El Shaarawy, respectively.
Dybala travelled with the team but it remains to be seen whether Daniele De Rossi will choose to play him or not – the coach is considering resting Dybala for the entire duration of this match in the hopes of having him back 100% for the weekend fixture against Sassuolo.
