Sarri: “The loss to Roma still burns.”

Speaking ahead of his team’s Champions League clash against Besiktas, Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri admitted the loss against Roma is still a fresh wound saying:

“The loss against Roma is still burning fresh. Perhaps it’s good that we play again so quickly. Maybe it’s easier for us to play in Europe because it’s easier to find motivation in UEFA Champions League games. This is not the most difficult period for me at Napoli. I know it’s not an easy moment but I’m less worried than last season because now I know my players well, I know they can understand and analyze what they are doing wrong and I’m confident that we will find solutions together.”
