The future of Roma transfer market Sasa Kalajdzic remains clouded in mystery following the admission from Stuttgart executives that the player still hasn’t accepted their contract renewal offer.

The 24 year-old’s contract with the German side expires in fifteen months and there’s an increasing possibility he could leave the club once the transfer window reopens in the summer.

Though, Stuttgart executive Sven Mislintat expressed the club isn’t packing when it comes to the attacker’s future.

“Kalajdzic’s contract? We are very relaxed, he is very relaxed,” he told Sky Sport Germany.

“He still has a contract and has said openly that first he wants to get fit and return to the pitch before we finalise anything (contractually).”

The towering striker was heavily linked with Roma following the appointment of Jose Mourinho last May. After opting to remain with Stuttgart this season, the youngster has struggled with injuries throughout the season.

Though, this hasn’t warded off potential suitors as several clubs beyond the Giallorossi are keen, including West Ham, Spurs, and Borussia Dortmund.
