Sassuolo manager Alessio Dionisi led his team to an impressive 4-3 win over Roma at the Stadio Olimpico tonight.
The Italian technician sounded happy with his team’s effort to guarantee an important result away from home.
“Job well done by the boys,” Dionisi told DAZN after the final whistle. “We were good and effective in the match and it wasn’t easy with such a crowd in the stands, the whole stadium that drives their team and the strong players they have.”
“Sassuolo had never won against Roma at the Olimpico in the last 10 years. I say this for the guys, who have done something truly extraordinary.”
“I’m very happy for the boys, I regret the way it ended, we could have easily finished 4-2, but anything goes.”
