Sassuolo boss Roberto De Zerbi shrugged off injury concerns as he discussed tomorrow’s fixture against Roma.

The Neroverdi host the Giallorossi tomorrow at the Mapei Stadium, however, both sides will be without a number of key players.

Sassuolo will be missing a number of first choice options including: Domenico Berardi, Gian Marco Ferrari, Francesco Caputo, Manuel Locatelli, Mert Müldür, Kaan Ayhan, and Gregoire Defrel.

“We still have a very good team available tomorrow. There’s Toljan, Traoré, Boga, Raspadori, Djuricic, Maxime Lopez, Magnanelli, Peluso, Chiriches, Marlon, Rogerio, and Kyriakopoulos,” stated De Zerbi.

“We will still play our football like we always do, regardless of the opponent, but Roma are a great team that we respect. They play well and have a strong identity and quality players, like Sassuolo. The fact that both teams have several players within their national teams is proof of the quality.”

He concluded, “I expect an open match. We’ll be facing a courageous team that likes to play. However, I want us to focus on ourselves. We’ll have eleven players on the pitch tomorrow that are worthy of Sassuolo.”
