Due to Zaniolo’s recent decision to depart the Italian capital, rumours of Roma’s interest in Davide Frattesi as a late January deal resurfaced.
Frattesi remains the club’s priority for the summer. However, Sassuolo executive Giovanni Carnevali made it clear that the Neroverdi do not intend to lose Frattesi in the final days of the January window.
“We certainly won’t sell Frattesi and the other most important players now,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Frattesi and Traorè are also being monitored in Premier League, scouts from English teams often come to follow them at our stadium.”
