Sassuolo executive Gio Carnevali: “Our asking price for Frattesi has always been €40m.”

The race for Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi remains highly contested as Roma, Inter, Juventus, and Milan all want to acquire the 23 year-old.

Discussing the situation, Neroverdi executive Giovanni Carnevali insisted the club will listen to any club interested in acquiring the player as long as their €40 million price tag is met.

“For Frattesi, Inter moved first but they’re still making their assessments,” he told Rai Gr Parlamento. “There’s other opportunities on the table, though.”

“I never met with Milan for him but we’ll listen to any clubs that knock on our door. However, the first to concretely approach might have the best chance to close the deal. Our asking price has always been €40 million–he’s worth it. “
