Sassuolo executive Giovanni Carnevali once again condemned Jose Mourinho’s decision to criticize Neroverdi forward Domenico Berardi.
During a recent appearance at the Gran Galà del Calcio 2023, Carnevali told reporters that Mourinho’s criticism of Berardi as someone who lacks in fair-play is unacceptable.
“I don’t think anyone should talk about an opponent’s players. Above all, everything Mourinho said is incorrect,” claimed Carnevali.
“Of course, it’s Mourinho’s opinion but it’s entirely wrong,” he added. “We lost a match which, without Boloca’s expulsion, perhaps would have ended differently. It’s a shame for the defeat, which came in a rather random way.”
