Sassuolo director Giovanni Carnevali shared an update on the negotiations with Roma for Italian midfielder Davide Frattesi who is one of the Giallorossi’s top priorities for the summer.
In an interview with Sky Sport, Carnevali admitted that the deal is far from complete and lots of work is yet to be done for the two clubs to reach an agreement.
“Regarding Frattesi, we’re still where we were two weeks ago,” he said referring to an interview where Carnevali discussed the discrepancies between Sassuolo’s demands and Roma’s offer.
“At the moment everything is on hold and we’re still a long way away from reaching an agreement.”
