Sassuolo executive Giovanni Carnevali responded to Jose Mourinho’s recent criticism of Neroverdi attacker Domenico Berardi.
In an interview with DAZN right before kick-off to Sassuolo-Roma, Carnevali commented on Mourinho’s criticism of Berardi as a simulator seeking nonexistent fouls.
“Mourinho is a great coach,” said Carnevali. “but who knows Berardi better than us? We know him not only from what he does on the pitch, but also from a human aspect. Berardi is a great person, I don’t share Mourinho’s thoughts.”
