Sassuolo executive Giovanni Carnevali shared an update on the future of Davide Frattesi and the numerous transfer links.

In a recent interview with Il Messaggero, Carnevali admitted, “We’re talking with Roma, Inter and Juventus. I heard that Milan were interested but so far they haven’t approached us. Meanwhile, I personally met with the other clubs.”

“It’s true. With Roma we’re also in talks for Volpato and Missori but those are two separate negotiations, independent of Frattesi. We’re thinking about it – the deals for Volpato and Missori are doable.”

“Roma hold a 30% sell-on clause on Frattesi but that doesn’t influence us. It’s also important to keep in mind that we don’t need to sell Frattesi. Nobody’s forcing us.”

“Frattesi hasn’t expressed any particular preference. He’s only mentioned he would like to remain in Italy,” said Carnevali.
