Roma youngster Riccardo Ciervo, who’s on loan at Sampdoria, could be on the move again before the transfer window closes next week.
According to SportItalia, Sassuolo are admirers of the 19 year-old attacker and may try to acquire him before the end of the month.
Ciervo initially joined Samp in late August after drawing interest from several clubs, including the Neroverdi, throughout Serie A and Serie B. However, finalising a potential transfer before the end of the month from the Ligurian side to Sassuolo could prove difficult.
Sampdoria possess the option to make Ciervo’s loan move permanent while Roma retain a counter option. Therefore, Sassuolo would need to reach an agreement with both clubs in order to complete any deal.
