Roma Primavera winger Joao Costa is the talk of the town after impressing the Giallorossi’s recent friendly with Al Shabab.

The Brazilian player could also be eyeing a move on loan for the remainder of the season which would allow him to get a taste of senior football.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Sassuolo are very interested in Costa and have asked for his availability in the final days of the January window.

The Neroverdi are still looking for their compensation for having agreed to interrupt Matias Vina’s loan – the Uruguayan fullback recently joined Flamengo on a permanent deal from Roma with Sassuolo’s consent.

The newspaper suggests that Sassuolo have specifically asked for Joao Costa to join them on loan until the end of the season.
