Sassuolo to be without Müldür, Ferrari and Locatelli versus Roma

Sassuolo will be extremely shorthanded this weekend when they face-off against Roma tomorrow in Modena.

The Neroverdi announced that several of their key players will be held out tomorrow as a precautionary measure.

Midfielder Manuel Locatelli, right back Mert Müldür, and central defender Gian Marco Ferrari will not face Roma tomorrow after staff members of their respective national teams tested positive for COVID-19. In addition, central defender Kaan Ayhan is unavailable after he tested positive for Coronavirus.

That’s not where the bad news ends for manager Roberto De Zerbi, though. Attacking trio Domenico Berardi, Francesco Caputo, and Gregoire Defrel are also unavailable due to muscle injuries.
