Roma have reignited their interest in Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi ahead of the January window. However, convincing the Neroverdi to let the player leave mid-season will be anything but simply according to Italian media.
As reported in today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Frattesi remains a priority for Roma – General Manager Tiago Pinto stated on numerous occasions that the 23-year-old is his favorite Serie A player.
Roma are thus expected to reach out to Sassuolo in the coming weeks but the Neroverdi are unlikely to hold talks for the player in January.
Frattesi’s return to Roma is for now a concrete possibility in the summer.
