Gregoire Defrel is closing in on a return to Sassuolo. Sky Sport reports that the Neroverdi are working on bringing the Frenchman back to the Emilian-based outfit after talks between Roma and Cagliari stalled for the player. Ligue 1 side Saint-Etienne also expressed interest in Defrel, but Sassuolo are firmly in the lead for his signature.
