Sassuolo winger Armand Lauriente is said to be a concrete target for the Giallorossi.

The French attacker is on the Giallorossi’s shopping list for the summer.

Given the Neroverdi’s recent relegation to Serie B, Lauriente is pushing for a return to Italy’s top flight as soon as the transfer window opens.

Roma have reportedly had him in their sights for a few months – the club have been eagerly monitoring his progress in Serie A this past season.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Lauriente is currently deemed a more realistic signing for Roma than Federico Chiesa.

Although Chiesa remains Roma’s preferred target to strengthen De Rossi’s attack, the costs involved and Juve’s demands seem to be excessive for Roma at the moment.

Therefore, the newspaper claims Lauriente is Roma’s main alternative to Chiesa.

The player would be brought in to rotate with Stephan El Shaarawy.

The 24-year-old is coming off a season marked by 5 goals and 4 assists in 37 appearances for the Neroverdi.
