Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi has agreed to a move to Inter despite interest from his boyhood club Roma.
To confirm the news was Sassuolo executive Giovanni Carnevali who admitted that Frattesi’s preference and focus had been solely on Inter.
“It’s a done deal,” Carnevali told Sky Sport. “He signed his contract a few moments ago. We are happy and it has not been easy.”
“The negotiation was long and there were various clubs bidding for him, but with Inter it ended in the best way, both for us and for the player, who has always had a preference for them.”
