Sassuolo director Giovanni Carnevali reiterated his side’s intention to keep Roma target Davide Frattesi until the end of the season despite interest from Italy and abroad.
“January is a long month for us. There’s a lot of teams interested in Frattesi and other players,” he told Sky Sport before kick-off to Sassuolo-Lazio.
“Our desire is to keep the team as it is until the end of the season, the way we always have done in the past,” Carnevali added. “The goal is to retain the most important players until the end of the season. We are convinced that we have a good team with important players.”
