As out-of-favor Roma midfielder Jordan Veretout nears an exit from the club after three years in the capital, rumors from France are linking the Giallorossi with another French player.
According to sports outlet BUT, Roma are already preparing a list of candidates to replace the soon departing Veretout.
Among them is Sassuolo’s Maxime Lopez. The 24-year-old, who excels in pace and dribbling, has a contract with the Neroverdi valid until 2024.
Lazio are also reportedly interested in the former Marseille midfielder in case either Sergej Milinković-Savić or Luis Alberto were to leave in the summer window.
