Schick drawing interest from England

RomaPress – A total of 10 goals and 2 assists in 19 appearances: Patrik Schick has enjoyed a rebirth in the Bundesliga this season with RB Leipzig.

Despite his success abroad, Schick’s future still remains very far from AS Roma. The German side possess a 29 million option to buy on the Czech attacker, however, they have been adamant in recent weeks that they will not be able to afford that figure.

The Giallorossi and Leipzig have been engaged in negotiations for a nearly a month on a lower sum, however, they have still yet to reach an agreement.

Schick remains intent on remaining with Julian Nagelsmann’s side, but if the clubs are unable to reach an agreement — he will have to find a new destination.

Meanwhile, Pavel Paska, Schick’s agent, has been working on potential scenarios in recent days in the event that Leipzig do not permanently purchase his client. RomaPress can report that over the last few days, Paska has been in contact with several English clubs, including Everton.

The former Sampdoria man has no shortage of suitors throughout Europe as the Giallorossi are poised to sell him for a healthy capital gain despite his lack of success at the club.
