Red Bull Leipzig attacker Patrick Schick, who is at the German club on loan from Roma, spoke to Czech outlet isport.blesk.cz and discussed his summer move to the German side on loan.
“When I left the Czech Republic, my dream was to go to Italy and I fulfilled it. Now I am really attracted to England, but Leipzig was the right decision for my career,” he revealed.
”I also had talks with Dortmund, Leverkusen and Schalke here in Germany. In England, there was Everton and Crystal Palace and in Spain there was Valencia. But I felt that Leipzig wanted me more, I liked their playing style and the manager, Nagelsmann. I think it’s clear I chose right”.
Schick departed the Giallorossi this past summer after struggling with both injuries and problems playing consistent playing time — as he was stuck behind Edin Dzeko in the pecking order.
