Schick nearing Bayer Leverkusen switch

Patrik Schick is moving closer towards a permanent exit from AS Roma.

Sky Sport has reported that the negotiations between the Giallorossi and Bayer Leverkusen on a permanent deal for the Czech attacker are at a very advanced stage.

Schick recently returned to Roma after his loan spell at ended RB Leipzig, whom he joined last summer on loan with an option to buy.

Julian Nagelsmann’s side considered the €29 million option to buy too expensive and tried extensively to negotiate a lower figure with Roma, but the two sides were not able to find an agreement after several months of talks.
